Hunkar Trading Company was incorporated in Kenya in 1999 and deals in liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) filling. Hunkar Trading Company(HTC) distributes LPG through its own brand, Hunkar gas.

We are situated on Masai Road, off Mombasa road opposite Prestige Packaging Ltd,behind  Libra House.HTC is the leading independent LPG filler in the country. The company also does contract filling on behalf of other companies.

Storage Facilities:
Hunkar has an adequate storage facility.
Storage Distribution Fleet:
Hunkar’s bulk LPG delivery fleet includes two tankers with a capacity of 8MT and 6MT Respectively.
Gas cylinder are distributed using four (4) 4 tonne trucks each with a capacity to carry up 2 120 gas cylinders at any one time.

Cylinder filling plant
The installed cylinder filling plant has a capacity to fill 20k per minute.
The plant is semi-automated.

Fire fighting equipment
Hunkar has adequate fire-fighting facilities in line with LPG standard installation requirements. This includes both fixed and portable fire extinguishers and a water sprinkler system with a water capacity of 4000 litres.
